Competition Times

We compete every Friday evening from September through to March.

Athletes should arrive at the track by 5.45pm to complete a warm up prior to a 6pm start to competition. 

We aim to conclude Friday night competition by 8.30pm.

2017 / 2018 Season Dates

Sat 19th and Sun 27th August: sign-on days at the Uni Track from 9-12.

8th September 2017               Orientation Meet

15th September 2017             Regular Meets commence (points count from here)

8th December 2017              Christmas Break-Up (no points tonight – but lots of fun!)

5th January 2018                    Regular Meets re-commence (points count from here)

9th March 2018                     Final points meet for the season

16th March 2018                     Join us for our Presentation Day

2 December: State Relay Championships (Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre)

10-11 February: Regional Championships (Noosa)

Location

USCLAC is located at the University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Facility, University Way, Sippy Downs Qld.

Facilities

At USCLAC we are proud to be a part of the University of the Sunshine Coast’s sports precinct. We have amazing facilities which enable us to offer our athletes the full range of athletic events.

We also utilise a number of technology solutions which help us to run an efficient and effective weekly program. This includes the use of electronic timing gates on the track and all of our results are captured and stored electronically. Please refer to our Results page for more information.

Canteen

At USCLAC we operate a canteen on each of our Friday competition nights serving a range of hot food and cold drinks and we pride ourselves on having one of the best sausage sizzles on the Sunshine Coast! Come along on a Friday night and support your club while enjoying some great food.

The canteen is always in need of volunteers so if you fancy yourself as a BBQ chef then we would love your help.
